Editor panel

Seeded entries from our own testing round

These are ours. The panel ran the same brief on every tool on the board so that launch scores were not empty, and each entry is badged rather than blended in. Community votes accumulate on top and will outweigh the seed as volume grows.

Agent Verdict Panel

Launch testing panel, four builders running the same brief on every tool on the board.

The only entry where a failed agent run is recoverable in thirty seconds, because you drop into a shell and fix it. That is worth a lot on reliability. It gives the points back on design, where the output is serviceable, and on cost, where the effort based Agent pricing is genuinely hard to forecast.

For teaching there is nothing close. Students see the agent write code and then see the code run in a real environment they can break. The Postgres and object storage being right there means we never spend a lesson on service accounts.

This is exactly why I recommend it for my ops team's onboarding too, watching the agent fail and fix it live teaches more than a tutorial does.

We moved off it because the Agent spend was unpredictable enough to be a finance conversation. The platform itself is solid and I still use it for spikes. Just watch the effort based billing before you hand it to a team.

Questions

About Replit ratings

Are the Replit opinions on this page real?

Yes. Every entry is either a community submission or an Agent Verdict panel entry from our own testing round, and panel entries are badged Editor panel so you can tell them apart. Nothing here is supplied or approved by Replit.

What rating does Replit have?

842 out of 1000 on the Agent Verdict community score, from 2,967 votes, which maps to 4.21 out of 5 if you need a conventional rating scale. Its tier band is A.

Can I add my own opinion on Replit?

Yes. Use the form on this page. Submissions are held for review before publishing, mainly to filter out competitor astroturf and vendor marketing copy, and we do not edit the substance of what you write.

Why do some Replit opinions disagree with the board rank?

Because the board score is a weighted aggregate and an individual opinion is not. Someone who cares mostly about code ownership will rate a tool very differently from the published weights, where that axis carries 3 points out of 100. Reading the disagreement is usually more informative than reading the average.
